- Sally White discovers that her fetch is at the Good Samaritan hospital in Los Angeles. Upon investigation by Jessi Blades, it's revealed that there is some unknown presence, believed to be linked with Yellow Cap which is watching over changelings who go to the hospitial there.

- Sally White, Shelagh, Jessi Blades, Metis and Stripe emerge from the hedge. Sally White and Shelagh are found by Minister Kruhy
- Minister Rime is attacked by The Yellow Cap and left with a large hunting dagger sticking out of his back. Elijah Reve removes the dagger and gives it to Cloud.
- John Smith and Cloud challenge the authority of Summer King Mikallister Ferrington by not relinquishing the dagger to Mikallister Ferrington.
- Kobe is inducted into the Summer court by the Summer King Mikallister Ferrington
- Madame Nuit uncovers one weakness of items forged by The Yellow Cap

- Rowan, Tempest, Cloud and Mikallister Ferrington fight over Tempest and his actions. When the smoke clears, Mikallister is the last one standing so the wyrd declares him king.
- A good number of Changelings from around the country come to visit including Jimmy Quick, Sirius Grin, Madame Nuit and Nachtmusik

- Mother Rowan's Safehouse is broken into by assailants.
- Most members of the Rainbow Connection decide to found a new Freehold in Los Angeles. Near the end of the month, A peace is negotiated with them and the Rainbow Connection reintegrates with the Freehold of Misplaced Dreams.
- The Fox Hunt motley is founded. The founding members are Bill Blue, Coby, and Tick Tock.
- Towards the end of the month, several Lost from the freehold and surrounding freeholds assault a house where they believe The Yellow Cap has been hiding.

- Rob Fletcher is selected as Spring King through contest. Mister Hyacinth and other members of the Rainbow Connection are dissatisfied with this selection as they see the contest as fixed. King Fletcher demands fealty from them, which is poorly received, though a few grudgingly swear it.
- Bill Blue is sworn to the Spring court.

- Elijah Reve specifically forbids any sort of contest for selection of the Spring King from taking place in the middle of his Ceremony of those Lost. Rob Fletcher disobeys this edict.

- Bill Blue Emerges from the Hedge outside the freehold in North Hollywood
- Elijah Reve is crowned King of Winter for the Freehold of Misplaced Dreams
- A group of changelings, including Minister Rime, Minister Kruhy, Minister Ihmyu, Gustav S, Rowan and Ignis track down and investigate a van belonging to the Yellow Cap.
