- 1930 - Census reports 1,238,048 residents of Los Angeles
- 1933 - The Los Angeles Times building is destroyed by an explosion
- 1933 - Cardinal Donato's orders the death of Poppy in connection with the explosion, but the Invictus and Ordo Dracul members of the court refuse to carry out Cardinal Dontao's orders of execution. Cardinal Donato goes berserk, and chases Poppy from Elysium. She returns to Elysium, with blood on her hands claiming to have killed Donato.
- 1933 - LeBeau assumes Praxis over Los Angeles, granting Santa Monica to the Carthians.
